The Gift Chapter 3It was the night of the dinner, and everyone in my house was getting ready for the party. Mom was running around frantically, trying to get dressed as fast as she could. I sat in my room, wearing a white & silver dress with straps hanging over my shoulders, and a knee-length skirt. I skimmed through my jewelry box, when I came across a pair of silver earrings.
